Lights & voltmeter
I hooked up some lights for the ramp truck so I can see at night if I ever have to load/unload anything.
Plus I added a digital volt meter to keep a eye on the battery charge.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |

Lookin good Andy, can't have too much light on a dark night. And after my recent electrical issues I can sure appreciate the value of a good voltmeter.

Just some more info: I ran the 12 volt wire for lights down to the solenoid I installed earlier for the winch & air compressor. I put a 40amp relay in it and just ran a wire off the fuse block to the switch to trigger the relay. Those bed lights are getting full 13.5 volts when on. If anybody ever tailgates me they will get a eye full!

Nice! How about a bit more detail on the voltmeter? Does it plug into the cigarette lighter?

I bought 15 of them to install in golf carts. They read 0-100 volts 2 wire hook up. I put a cig connector on this one and use it in vehicles when I'm doing stuff but I decided to leave it in the ramp truck. I had it in the 56 while on the 2018 Power tour to keep a eye on the battery.
