Re: Paint newb questions

Your first link didn't work.

Go to a local jobber and they will talk you through it or buy a name brand PPG, OMNI, Kirker, SPI, etc. You want a HVLP gun. Spend some time reading on here or any of the other paint forums. You will have more and better questions once you do so.

Re: Paint newb questions

Agree with Tinydb84... read up on different forums, that gun on harbor freight might be good for small parts, but not spraying a large area, perhaps a very experienced painter might make it work, but its just not worth the loss of paint, and or potential problems that comes with such a cheap gun, you might be better off getting on Amazon and finding a HVLP gravity gun (paint hopper on top) they offer multi gun kits with different size tips, Youtube can be your friend, search it several ways, example+ painting cars for beginners, youtube can show even the best painters new tricks, not really sure of your paint skills, but its just a thought,
