Exhaust Kits

I thought I posted this here but I'm not sure where it ended up??? Didn't see it after it posted so I apologize if this comes up twice.

Anyway, I'm trying to find a bolt in dual exhaust kit that fits correctly right out of the box.

Disclaimer: My K5 is a 1988 and I posted in the square body p/u section and was advised to post here.

I checked the reviews of Dynomax and Hooker kits but too many said the right side fit perfect but not the left.

Anybody have any recommendations on a kit that actually fits without "tweaking?"

I've had custom exhausts made before but was way more expensive than the kit prices I've seen.

I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Thanks!

Re: Exhaust Kits

I still think you're posting in the wrong section. There should be a Blazer sub forum for your year.

That said I dont know that I'd really trust any "kit" to be perfect and not need tweaking.

Re: Exhaust Kits

SeventyOne,

I stated I posted in the '73-'87 Square Body (P/U) section and was told to go to the Blazer section.

I can't find a '73 & Up Blazer section so...what am I missing here?

BTW, I'm starting to realize I'll have to go to a shop if I want dual exhausts that actually fit right.

Thanks.

Re: Exhaust Kits

I don't think it's apples to apples with 1st and 2nd generation Blazers. I would post here:

Re: Exhaust Kits

The link above is the right spot.

Get it custom. Custom is always better ;-)
