70 c10 L6 w/4 speed to sbc help

I took out the l6 and installed the 350 with big block clamshell style mounts in the forward holes my issue is the trans sits too far forward to bolt up to the belhousing crossmember.

Will the holes align if I move the towers to the rear holes?

Don't want to have to replace driveshaft and crossmember at the moment since I will be changing trans in the near future when funds become available. Any help is appreciated
