power steering finally in

finally got my power steering installed. only took close to 4 years.
put in a close ratio out of a ? but it went in no prob cept the bumper bracket and i did cut the inner fender.
the gear box had a different hose type connectors than the 68-73, so i bought some adapters from some outfit in sun valley ca. so i could use standard hoses.
almost than too heavy for me to put in by myself, i was able to do it alone.
bleeding the air out gave me some aggravation but it came together.
i did have fluid gush out the pump but i think only because i turned the wheels with the engine off and not having all the air out of the gear box. i'm thinking that it cost about 200 getting most all the major parts off fleebay. lucky for me i got a killer deal on the box and the pump.
i think it makes the cab seem larger also. now that its in i'm pissed at myself for waiting so long.

Re: power steering finally in

Anybody remember a thread about the early 68 frames that were not
indented for the power steering sector????
Thought i'd saved it but can't find it now.
Thanks
