Re: Agent Orange- My 1968 K20

So last year I decided to go out and do a little exploring in the truck on some trails. I wasn't looking for anything too extreme, but just looking to explore some different places that I couldn't get to in my car. This is all new for me as all I have ever owned is a car, so it was really cool to get to some different off-road places where only trucks and Jeeps can go. The 2nd and 3rd pic are at the same location, and the truck hasn't moved, its just from two different angles. There was an interesting little dam at this lake which Im standing on in the 2nd pic

A couple more from the same day. Last summer we had so much rain so it seemed like forever before we had a nice day and I got out in the truck. This was in September! But what a perfect day for a truck ride

In the last pic, my bumper sticker says:
Warning! Is there life after death? Touch my truck and find out!

Re: Agent Orange- My 1968 K20

So my truck was originally built in California. I've never been there but I like to imagine what it was like back in 1968 when my truck was brand new. I imagine the truck cruising around to the beaches and driving out in the desert in the California sunshine. So I was looking on Google maps, and I noticed this tiny little place called California, here in Ontario. I thought there might be a sign or something there and that it would be an interesting place to visit and say "I was in California with my truck" lol. So, on the same day as the previous pictures, I was out driving around and I was not too far away from where this little spot was. I decided to go there and check it out, but when I arrived there was literally nothing there at all. No town, no sign, nothing except maybe one house. Somewhat dissapointed, and since it was getting late in the day at this point, I turned around and started heading back. All day I had been out driving around looking for some trails to drive, however I wasn't really having much luck finding what I was looking for. I wanted something nice and wide open so I didn't have to worry about scratching the truck all up, but I also wanted some rocky terrain that would be a little bit of a challenge and where I could try out the 4 wheel drive. It's really not much fun if it's a trail that I could take my Mercury Grand Marquis down! Anyways, as I drove back out I noticed a really nice looking trail along the Hydro line. Could this be what I had been searching for all day? I set out to see... and there it was! I had found it! The perfect trail for what I wanted to do!! Not long into the trail I took this photo, and I put a filter on it to make it look like an old vintage photo from the 70's.

So here it is, just for fun- my image of how my truck may have looked, back in 68... cruising around in California

Thanks! I bought the truck like that, I believe it is a 4 in. lift. Im running 35in BFG mud terrains and really like them. Too bad they quit making them in a 16.5in rim!

Thanks! I find the value in things when they have an interesting story and personal meaning... its so much more than just a truck that "looks cool"
