Question Wiw 305 Sbc

Block # 460777 76 to 79
Head # 376450 75 to 81 1.71 1.5 valves.
Motor ran when taken out.
Took oil pan off cam shows wear on lobes.
Was told it was 350 never checked # till got ready to use.
Location N W Indiana

That`s tough to say.Used motors don`t bring much,especially already pulled.A 305 is the least desireable small block.I paid $200 for a`68 truck large journal 327 motor last summer that I never heard run.It was complete except carb.It was coupled to a TH400,too.That`s one example and I thought a great deal.You may get $100.

Yea when i bought was told it was 350.
Paid $ 50.00 thought I was getting a deal.
Should have checked numbers.

I gave one away to another boardmember to use as parts. It only had 42k on it and a new cam (didnt feel like pulling the cam and lifters though)

The crank is the same as a 350 crank though, so it does have some utility value --- the rods can be used in something else as well, so i wouldn't say you got totally ripped
