Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban

Going to get this burb tomorrow, I looked at it last week and made a deal on it today so here we go....Its dark olive and white exterior, custom deluxe with dark olive interior. I will take some pictures when I pick it up and post them tomorrow.

I will be using this for a crew cab build on my '71 3/4ton GMC so will be using the front body and front doors for that.

It has front and rear A/C. The rear A/C cover seems to be ok but missing some vents. There are some box speakers are mounted on speaker brackets to the front of it.

I think most of the headliner was there.

There are rear seat armrests with the metal frames, not sure from which seat as they are just in there loose...$75 for those plus shipping.

Rear A/C complete $400 plus shipping.

Its hatch and tailgate, both seem to be average condition, $150 each plus shipping.

It has the huge sheetmetal aftermarket large capacity fuel tank, unknown condition as it appears to have last been registered in 2004, $150 plus shipping.

It has the upper trim just below the windows.

Let me know what you need and put a price on what you want that is not listed for a starting point.

Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban

If it has any of the circular plastic interior plugs that cover bolt/screw heads I will take them. Found on the upper inside of body near the windows and rear of body where the upper hatch mounts etc. Thanks!!!

Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban

If it's worth your time...I'd be interested in one of the headliner bows. One that has the chrome plastic piece still in good condition.
If you're interested, post some pics, let me know how much and I'll PM you my info for shipping.
Thanks

I am missing the one behind the drivers door. (long one) But would be interested in any of the burb specific ones. My others are in so-so condition. So anything from the front doors back. Driver quality is fine.

Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban

Speaking of lower moldings.

I am in need of the short one on the drivers left fender and the one between the 3rd door and the passenger rear tire.

Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban

I got it home and here are some pictures. I took a picture before and after I removed the speakers from the rear A/C unit. It looks like the 2 missing vents are sitting inside the A/C cover, I guess just pushed in....

Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban

Some more pictures, one of the rear seat armrests. The 3rd row seating has 2 seatbelts, green short retractors with no covers and black buckles. No pics of the seatbelts yet. Hatch is real rust but hardware seems ok.

Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban

Tailgate is pretty solid, some paint bubbling on the outside. Couple gas tank pictures and rear view of A/C cover. Pics suck as it was getting dark here.

I will take some picture of it tomorrow...I looked at it and it seems small for the burb but maybe they are like that...haven't seen one in a long time.
