1972 spindles

Will a 1972 front spindle off of a c-10 fit a c-30, or are they diffrent sizes?

No.
The C20 and C30 trucks have a different spindle with different balljoints and tie rod ends.
Also the lower a-arm on the C20/C30 trucks have a bigger hole for the balljoint.
