Six tires - gotta love that!

How's the inside going to be finished out?

Re: 85 astro van

Right now the front is stock blue with grey tweed in the rear I want to build a couch Ali the way to the rear with 4 subs mounted at the bottom, and a 40 in plus tv behind the front seats and wrap everything in bright red vinyl and tweed. I want this van to feel like it's stuck in the 90s

Re: 85 astro van

I wonder how the rear tires will hold up with the scrub that will happen on turns.

Paint looks great, you are going to get a lot of double take looks when people notice the extra wheels.

Re: 85 astro van

Just got me a 96 AWD Safari for camping/hiking. Was concerned its a little long for turning around on Forest Service roads. Then I see this.

Re: 85 astro van

You on AstroSafari.com (or AstroSafarivans.com) ? Lots of info on those sites.
Neither as good as this one. Pretty decent vans, with a few quirks.

Re: 85 astro van

Me too. As a teenager my stepdad came from Texas in a old dodge van. That was totally custom. We had several vans really. I like vans just as much as trucks.
