72 K20 rear axle measurements?

Hi all, I am swapping out my Eaton Ho52 for a 14 bolt rear axle. Does anybody know the spring perch and backing plate to backing plate distance measurements so I can have the spring perches welded onto the 14 bolt and have axle shipped to trucks location? Also is it the yoke I need to change or the ujoint when mating up to my stock driveshaft and sm465 4spd / np205 transfercase?

This is a 72 K20 untouched

I am doing this remotely! Yih haaaa!

Thanks a ton
Chris

Re: 72 K20 rear axle measurements?

Hi cmabolt! I'm new to this site but I just finished swaping out a 14 bolt for my eaton rear axle on my 72 longhorn. The spring perches lined up perfect but I have to remount the shock mounts on my 14 bolt.

Cmabolt, the 14 bolt was out of a 1982 1 ton single rear wheel chevy.
