Does anyone know about an outdoorsman package?

I go to school with a guy who has a 97-99 Chevy that has a decal on the bedside that reads "The 4x4 outdoorsman By: Jeff (something)" The name is in cursive so the last name is difficult to read. I have never seen one before and am not sure if it is some rare package or an aftermarket addition. I will try to upload a picture if I can. Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

Well it looks like I managed to get this in the wrong year's forum. Sorry about that.

Not a factory package.

Could it say "by Jeff Gordon"?

I don't think there is any way for it to say Gordon. It almost looks like it starts with an F.

Re: Does anyone know about an outdoorsman package?

Most likely it was done by a 3rd party through the local dealer.

If its done through the factory it would have a specific RPO code for that option and it would not say done by on it as that one does.
