'60-'63 Deluxe heater: same for all?

I just pulled a '60-'63 Deluxe Heater out of a C60. I'm guessing it SHOULD all be the same as the C-10, but wanted to double check.
Also, there was a plate that looks like a reinforcement plate, on the outside of the firewall's square hole. I don't remember seeing one of those before. Are those on all the trucks?

Re: '60-'63 Deluxe heater: same for all?

To my knowledge the '60-'63 heaters are the same for the C10-C80's. The heater in my '63 C60 looks to me to be identical to a '60-'63 C10 heater. The reinforcement plate you are describing is likely the extra firewall brace from side to side on the C40-C80 cabs.

No, it's just a stamped steel square with a square hole in the center, that goes over the square heater hole on the firewall.
It's not attached to anything else, or tied into anything else.

Ok, now I understand what you're talking about. That is just a '60-'61 thing. It is just a plate that reduces the size of the hole in the firewall. Not sure why they did that.
