Should Headlight Bezels Be Painted?
I know that like many things on our trucks, it's a matter of taste, but to be original or correct, should a 70 have the headlight bezels painted black or not, or was it an optional thing?

I've got a complete 70 grille that I just pulled from a parts truck and it's bezels were painted black.

69 and 70 should be black, 71 and 72 polished aluminum.

Like stated they came painted, but I think they look pretty good unpainted.

I thought the later years were chrome. I thought I had some chrome ones around, but no - so they got a repaint. |
