Re: Best Aluminum Radiator?? HELP

Well unless you find someone who has tried every brand you won't know. It's a subjective question. If your Griffin only lasted 4 years I'd be looking somewhere else. My all aluminum Summit radiator had worked perfectly for 10+ years. That doesn't mean it's " better" than Griffin, just that mine lasted longer.

After research, I believe it will be from Summit, they don't put there name on bad stuff...

I have a Champion on my 56 with Vintage air. It cools real good even on hot humid days in traffic.

I've not had a bad experience with Summit branded products. And God knows I've spent a fortune there over the years.

Re: Best Aluminum Radiator?? HELP

I have an aluminum 2 row ebay cheapie (don't even remember the brand name) in my 1972 C15 with a pretty snotty 355 in it. Been in the truck for going on 10 years with no problems.

I have had 2 griffin rad leak after less than a month. Went back to cheap parts store rads that dont leak in that truck. Expensive piece of aluminium scrap.
