Shorter Front Shock?

I'm going to be running a 3" spring only drop on the front of my Suburban. Do I need to use a shorter shock? And if I do, does anyone know the part number for the proper (shorter) Monroe Gas Magnums?

Re: Shorter Front Shock?

are you gonna have only the 3" springs? if so I would recommend going with lowering spindles than springs and order belltech shocks from summit racing.

Re: Shorter Front Shock?

Down the road I probably will go with spindles, but for now I'm going to cut a coil and a half(ish) and use Specialty Retail's flip in the rear. I'm not looking for a raked look, so the springs will allow me to fine tune things to see what I like.
