please help - barn door lock pawl/actuator pics?

I just purchased a '72 Suburban, and the barn doors needed some help, as I didn't get a key that worked in the lock for it (different keys from the side doors, ignition, glovebox). I ordered replacement lock cylinders. Now that the lock in installed, I have the sneaking suspicion that the actuator/pawl that was already there is the wrong one. See pics. Does someone have a pic of what it's supposed to look like? Of a diagram from the shop manual? Assuming I need one, where would I buy it?

Thanks for any help!

Re: please help - barn door lock pawl/actuator pics?

You have what looks like a front door lock and pawl. Here is a link that show the correct one. I don't think they are reproduced so you would need to source one used. The parts board here is a good place to look. There are several guys out west that part these regularly.

And loc Doc is very knowledgeable about these. I bought a complete matching set from him for my 68 panel, but i already had the correct pawl, not sure if he would have any or not
