Re-installing cab divider trim?

The PO of my truck shaved all of the upper and lower mouldings and not only removed the cab divider trim, but removed the moulding nubs. I was wondering if there was a way to re-install the cab divider trim using moulding clips and sheet metal screws. Is there another way of doing this?

Thanx in advance
Dano

Dan, All the after market vendors sell a set of screws made just for this. I got mine from Mar-K along with the trim. Lee

Or you can make your own psuedo clips and use 3M double sided molding tape to attach the molding. That way you don't have to drill on your cab and possibly cause rust issues later.

The stud gun kit I use has a tip for putting those pins back onto sheetmetal. It will only work if your still in the prepaint stages

X2 on that. I've not installed mine yet but should be easy enough with the new screws. After you drill just touch up the hole so you won't have exposed metal ready to rust.

Re: Re-installing cab divider trim?

i took all of the moulding off of my truck but this is the only trim i like on these trucks. i just wonder how it would look with this being the only trim on it.

if i was a little more fab friendly making the back window 2 or 3 inches bigger.
