Need opinions, what would you do?
Okay here's my dilemma, my Cheyenne is pretty much done, a few little things left to do but damn close for a daily driver only. I'm really into going fast these days and well a 3/4 ton longbed with a small lift really isn't built for speed so...I'm thinking about selling (or trade) the Cheyenne and using the money to buy another project truck, something smaller. I also want to get another project car, probably a Nova.
So what would you do, shut up and keep the Cheyenne and save up for another? Sell the Cheyenne, buy a smaller truck and use the rest of the money twards the projects? |

I guarantee you that if you sell your truck, and start another project you'll miss having a basicly nice truck to drive around in that's NOT a hotrod. I'd keep it, and save for a new one, unless you don't have room...

I would keep the TRUCK!,as you said its basically done.That way you have a super nice daily driver and you can build your next project when the time is right

Tough call Dion I would find it hard to let my truck go , and storage is a big problem for me also ,If you really want to go faster you know what you have to do ,But I bet you will wish you had that truck back . If I was to let mine go I'd buy the 68 Camaro across the street .

You have a sweet truck Dion, and I swear that if you get rid of it, you will end of regretting it somewhere down the road. Maybe not a lot, but there will be a time when you will miss it. So if you do it, make sure you get something that really makes you feel good. Just MHO on the subject, after all, it is your truck, and a damned nice one at that!

I do things a little differently, but I say hotrod the truck! My 3/4 ton is running 1/2 ton suspension 383, & 4.10 coggs......the latest upgrade is a 6 spd richmond box......its snowing , so I havent tried it out yet:p 2 tons of fun......sit down, shut up, & hang the hell on!

The engine that's in the truck now is far from stock and has an est HP of 400 and it's going into the Monte (for now) and we're rebuilding the original truck block to a 383
Yeah, I really can't see myself letting the truck go. Thanks for the input guys. |

You will need the truck to pull the trailer for your future muscle car. Keep it and save, you never know a good deal on a nova could walk your way. You will miss your truck, I missed mine and it was just apart for repairs.
