Centerline of Front Axle???

Doing a conversion from 2wd to 4wd on a C30 frame - Is the centerline of the existing 2wd axle the centerline of the top ball joint? Hope that makes sense. I am marking the frame before I cut out all the 2wd stuff

Thanks guys

Re: Centerline of Front Axle???

gotta figure in caster angle. might be slightly in front of the top ball joint.

Re: Centerline of Front Axle???

No need to mark the centerline, the front spring hangars mount the springs which determine the axle centerline

X2 with Randy, get the hangers correct, the axle will follow.
