I thought they finally changed that.. seems there were some funny stories in the news about folks never pumping gas having to learn..

I do remember driving from CA to WA and every gas stop in OR was full service

They changed it only for stations out in the boonies, or after hours.

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.

I’ve spotted this rare Gem by my house which I believe is a 1960. I pass by it all the time to look at it haha
One day passing by and saw who I believe was the son of the owner and asked him if it was for sale, he had a scared look on his face and said no, then a week later I saw it parked in the drive way which it’s been sitting there like it was for a while on the street before.

Ha! I guess he thought you were gonna conk him in the head & drive off with it!
I stopped once to inquire about a boat out under some trees. I knocked on the door, I knocked once more & got in my truck & left. About 5 miles down the road the law pulled me over & demanded to know what I was doing "Slinking" around that house I just left!
I told them In was "Knocking" on the door. He wanted to know why I was knocking at the door & I told him "To Get Someone To Answer"!!!
Itsa Brave New World Out There Now Boys...

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.

I love this truck. It has a Pontiac 400 big block. It belongs to one of the mechanics at the shop I go to. It has a nice patena and a vary old school hot rod look.

Saw this parked outside of work today it is a short wide bed with a big back window. It made me realize why they are so popular.

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.

Saw this interesting truck at the Cimarron Heritage Center.

Looks like a very cool project! Wish I could have seen under the hood. But I have a pretty good idea what was under there.
