options on a '67

Ohkay, looking for ideas.

I have a 67 C-10 org. I-6 and three spd. Now there is a 406 and a TH350 in the frame rails. The motor has a reworked quadrat from a 454 on top of an edelbrock performer, though reworked heads and out flow tech headers, duel 2.5" and 40" glass packs, exiting at the wheels.

Currently the truck is primer black (better then the @#$@#$ paint job the old man did)

I have 32x11.5 on 15x10 white spokes's all the way around, w/o power steering now

Now, my ideas:

Pre-Runner style, lifting the truck a few inches and running 35's, brush guards, roll bar, everything.

Slamming it with a 5/6 drop on 15" torqe thrust 6 spokes and "pro-street" look.

The body is pretty beat on the pass. side, but there is no rust to speak of, other then the windshield frame A new door, box side and cab corner would solve the body issue, along with a tail gate.

What should I do?!

ps will trade for running 4x4 gm full size of any year from 67 on.( K5, 10, 20, 30)

Go for the 5/6 man!

If you really want to get the offroad look going, go for a 4x4, it's a lot more redeeming! And not to mention practical

just my no sents

Hehe, you wouldnt belive the power I think I feel! I think it's got a posi under the back, and it spins both 11.5" tires with ease of rubber on the back. I think that is 2 square feet of solid traction.

Got any pics of your truck that you'd trade for a 4x4 for? What are you expecting as far as the 4 x 4 goes? daily driver?

On the 4x4, as long as it's not a basket case, it's golden... The only thing I'd be using it for is offroading and traveling the mountain passes in the winter. I have a Toyota for a daily... but I would like the thing to be in good running condition, with fairly little rust, as I might want to turn it into a daily driver.

Picts can come as soon as I get a C/F card reader, but I'll let you know it needs a new windshield (cracked), is primer black over a really bad almost looks like latex paint job and needs some body work.
