60-66 bucket seats

What are you guys using for bucket seats? I've thought about using 67-72 buckets but I'd like to see some pictures of what other people have in their trucks. Thanks in advance.

I have a set of low back buckets out of a 93 chevy truck. They are comfortable and are fatboy friendly, I tried a set of seats from a 02 chevy and they seemed cramped in the small cab.

I've got 1999 Itrepid seats in my '69. The cabs are about the same dimensions. They are power, leather and super comfy. $200 shipped on eBay.

Thats a photoshopped version of my truck to represent "the goal". It actually looks like this, or at least it did the day I brought it home. It's in pieces right this moment

I had a set of Flexsteel 40/20/40 seats in my 63 for a while. They were a little to big for the cab with the in cab tank. I was a little cramped and I'm only 5'3" They bolted right in though, I ordered brackets for a 95 GM truck with them. I now have the stock bench back in it. I'm letting my dad "borrow" the flexsteel seat for his 95 chevy. Hopefully someday, I'll get them back.

My '66 has factory buckets. Very rare on a '66, these same seats can be found in '67 and '68 years as well.

I had no idea it was even an option in our trucks. Thats ideally what I'd like to get because they're lowback.

Does it list the buckets as an option? I didn't know it was an option for 60-66.

Man, I would kill to get my hands on a set of factory buckets, even the 67-72 ones. I'm especially partial to the '72 houndstooth upholstery

I don't have a build sheet for my '66 like the 67-72 trucks do. I always figured the seat was installed into mine by the previous owner from a 67 or 68, until I found someone that had a bone stock '66 GMC just like mine. It was ordered from the factory with the higher output 351E and buckets. My guess is they started doing this in late '66, but it is alot more common on 67 and 68 years.

Wow! I wonder if they were a dealer install or factory option. Either way very cool!

magooster, I have a post in this forum from back in March I think, It has a picture of a set of 69-70 buckets w/console in my 65 pickup. The thread is "65 with buckets" I think. They are not a bolt in, but are a pretty easy install. To me they look like they could have been a factory option they work so well. Kevin
