Cool Re: 1965 chevy truck one piece @a time

spend a good day out in the shop . 1 sanded the Big block mount stands
2. sanded and cleaned the door hinges .
3 . painted the inside of the cab . dang i must be sick
Ill have to do some light sanding on the clear .i let some one use my clearing
gun and used it for a primer gun and i didn't check it before hand and sprayed my clear and had some grey flakes in the clear
so i have the heater going in the shop right now to let it cure out @ 70 deg
for 4 hours . shoud be ready about 9.30 pm then wait untill tomarrow to sand
and reclear

Re: 1965 chevy truck one piece @a time

Ok Who left the north door open it was 70 Saturday this morning it was 29
spent the in the shopr repainting the dash I wet sanded it with 600 grit to get it down to the base coat to repaint it . it would lift i try to use a primer to keep it from lifting no go . so i just stripped it back down to bare metal
reprimed and reshot the the base. and did the colum parts and big block mounts
didn't get to shoot the clear i need one more good coat of base .
Dad thought i was crazy for shooting when it was 31 out side and wind blowing around 20 to 30 miles an hour .. but the shop was 75 in side
