Spid RPO Question

Looked at this truck on EBay and noticed on the spid the option "Air Cleaner_Poly WR" .. I don't recal ever seeing it before. There are lots of pics of the truck in the ad but no underhoods to see the Air Cleaner, if the original is still there. Anyone what what it is?

Re: Spid RPO Question

I would imagine they got thrown out at the first filter change and looked something like this but larger in diameter:

Re: Spid RPO Question

I've seen filters like that in farm equipment to reduce the dirt to the paper filter. I believe they were washable.

FWIW, I've never heard of it before this, on a truck. But when I worked for Chevrolet dealers, they was pretty much city trucks. I saw the filters on farm machinery.
