'88 S-10 V-8 ready rolling chassis, what would you offer???

I don't need the headers, mounts, or anything like that, because I have something else in mind. It does have headers, midplate, he said square tubing from fender to fender, and down the frame, haven't seen pics. It looks solid with maybe a few dings thats hard to see in pics. I haven't seen the inside yet. Its missing the passenger headlight, but it has some decent looking wheels. I don't like talking people down to where I'm basically stealing there stuff, but I don't want to get ripped off at the same time. I don't like people asking me to give them what I have for sale, and don't like doing the same to others. What would be a good offer, because I know these trucks are a dime a dozen, but I cant seem to find any lately. This one is an hour drive from me. Heres a few pics, and I'll I have got so far.

4-500 bucks in my area max. I would try offer 300 and go from there. That is just from looking at the pictures. It has been my experience that the ones I have seen already V8ed, have the wire and other stuff under the hood butchered while trying to install a V8. Thats just me, because I always try and put back stuff to look like it belonged there look like the factory put it in there.

I offered $300, because its been on Craigslist for a while, so no one will give $500. If he doesn't take that, then there will be others. Thanks for the help, and you are right on the pinion angle thing, its works, done it myself.

He said $300, didn't seem to hesitate. I'm still thinking. I'll have to rewire regaurdless, because if it burns down from the wiring, it would be my fault and my engine and tranny have over 13 grand in it. I'm hopeing that the crossmember isn't cut up, some people cut a notch out and it can weaken it, and I plan on pulling tires.

Ok, I talked to the guy. It's got the stock radiator, bed has small 1in rust spots at the front of both bedsides, dash has cracks on top, headliner is falling, missing a door panel, seats are buckets and not bolted and don't belong in this truck. Firewall is undented, but crossmember is cut up and wasn't boxed in, but it can be. Oh, it has a sunroof. Engine has midplates.

Well if your gunna be pulling wheels are you going to be worried about the interior. Lighten the load. Sounds like you might be able to get it cheaper than 300.

Well, it will be show and go. It's not a Chevy engine that's going In there. I will tub it, all custom interior, and everything, so I dont need perfect interior but I want a good base to start with. I'll give it a shot, figure I could sale parts I dont need and get some back.

I would rather have a titled truck. I would consider anything. I don't need one for me anymore, but still need a parts truck so title or no title.
