Which one Mackinnon Industries, Flint or Tonawanda engine is in your truck?
Just wonder which engines went into which vehicles?

Tonawanda in mine.

I don't think it matter where they were built to be "best".

I have all three but a friend of mine said the tonawanda was the better of the three. Just wondered what was out there.

This may come down to an opinion. At the age of these trucks - how would one know which built engine was best.

Good thought though ...

Re: Which engine is best? K, V or T

I'm surmising that Tonawanda is just a little more well known for it's big block production, so folks tend to associate it with "gooder"

Re: Which engine is best? K, V or T

I lived in Buffalo for a short while and worked swing shift and stopped at a tavern after work. There was a lady that worked swing at the Tonawanda plant stopped there as well. Her name was Wanda, maybe that is why I liked
those engines so. LOL.
