Wow! You are ambitious! We are so spoiled here in AZ with rust free vehicles. Looks like it is coming along nicely!

Re: '79 Blazer 2wd

We are awfully spoiled here! I won't buy anything with much rust. I just wait until a clean example turns up.

I have got to hand it to you - you are very ambitious tackling a project with just a few more places of rust than some of us are fortunate to find. Good luck with your project. Look forward to more details and pictures.

Re: '79 Blazer 2wd

Thanks for the Kudos guys. It definitely has more rust than I would like and in the case of this rocker/inner rocker/floor the further I went the more I found hidden right where all those pieces sandwich together at the body brace. I'd love to regularly find vehicles in the shape you guys can. Around here with the '80 and earlier squares and especially the 67-72's it either has had the rockers/floors replaced or needs them replaced. we don't have salted roads here but we do have the next best thing, dirt that makes excellent gooey mud and plenty of humidity and rain most of the time.

Re: '79 Blazer 2wd

Thanks Mike, I've got most of the floor and rocker pieces cut and fitted in place. Will start welding when I am happy with the fit. The computer I usually use crashed out on me so it may be a little while before I can post pics again.
