I just got mine back and haven't installed it yet, but he sent a $20 off coupon and I thought I would pass it on to someone that was fixing to do their stock radio conversion. The coupon expires in August .. Let me know if your interested

You'll love the radio. Nothing beats the completely stock look

Yes, the AMs can be converted to 180w AM/FM CD XM MP3 capable. I'm not familiar with exactly what this guy offers or how much, but that's what the guy I use does. Probably same type of thing. It's the way to go IMO.

just the regular fm conversion without Bluetooth or any of the extras is north of that $350 but the stock look is worth it to me. check out www.garytayman.com for all the skinny on what he has to offer. I had shoulder surgery so I haven't been able to install it yet but it looks great.....

Tim, do you have the guys email address or phone number? I would just want it converted to am/fm,instead of just am, and have it so you could plug a phone or ipod /mp3 player into it and have usb port.....thanks

I will take the coupon if it is still available. I've got my radio out and I'm waiting for the right box to show up work at work to ship it in.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Anyone planning on sending their radio to Gary Tayman?

I also used Gary Tayman to convert my am radio to am/fm. The radio is installed but not functional yet. I have some pictures in the attached link, just scrolled down the page a bit.

looking at your pic of your radio, is the bracket that I circled the one that holds the back of the radio? I don't have that and was going to use some strapping that was already there attached to the old speaker, I thought that was what it was for. you wouldn't happen to know the dementions of it by chance would you?

Re: Anyone planning on sending their radio to Gary Tayman?

Yes that is the radio support bracket, but if you look closely there are 2 brackets in the picture. These 2 brackets bolt together to support the radio. No I don't have the dimensions of them. I'm sure you could by a set from a board member fairly cheap.
