Diesel Emblems

Hey all,

I am rebuilding a 1978 that originally had a diesel in it, but no motor when I bought it and I am not putting a diesel back in it.

I don't know how many diesel trucks were made in this era and if they are collectible or not.

My question is, are these emblems worth keeping/selling? There is the one on the grill that says Diesel in the lower right corner and then one on each fender that says the same. Also, how do I remove these safely? The fenders themselves are rusted and one is dented.

Thank you for your help!

I can try to upload pics if anyone is interested.
