Thanks guys! Any thoughts on this motor iny 86 half ton? What would I have to do haha? And I'm glad your guys don't think the trucks total trash! I have known this guy for more than 10 years!(:

Pull motor and trans both from the dually. Use the mounts, radiator, and shroud from the dually. It all bolts right into your half ton. That said, as expensive as gas is I would think twice before putting it in anything I would drive with any frequency.

Depending on what gears are in the half ton, it might not be too bad on fuel.
