Cool 87 land yacht

Here's my 1987 Chevy R10 Suburban 2wd 5.7 TBI/700 R4. It's been my daily driver for the last year. I bout it for $600 in Dec. 2012. When I bout it the truck wouldn't go over 45mph. The 2nd or 3rd gear wouldn't shift correct. So I put a 700R4 from a chevy blazer for the time being. The body is ok for the most part has a couple of rust spots. Frame & under the truck is solid no rust or rotting. Pulled the carpet up and the floor panels are in great shap. I have a rebuild 350 that I'm going to be putting in the truck. But I have to swap out the tbi for a carb. Because the engine was build for another car I had and the cam is to big for the tbi set up. I plan on getting the 700R4 rebuild by a local shop. But once all the mechanical work is done such as engine, transmission, suspension, brakes etc. I will start on the interior and bodywork.
