Just Another 67 SWB.....!!!

Well I finally found a truck I could start on and did some horse trading for it. Its a 67 SWB step (changing to a fleet), all original with 292 and 4 speed in the floor. Spent most of its life in the Panhandle of Texas as a County truck (Lipscomb County). Another man got it after they were done with it and the title shows me as the 3rd owner. The rockers and cab corners are as solid as ever, floors are grear, original seat/cover and looks to be original carpet. The owners manual was in the glove box with some of the maintenance records filled out and also the Protect-O-Plate. It is a factory radio/air delete truck and all plates are still intact. Nothing has been monkey'd around with as far as wiring or adding all kinda BS. Plans are to swap to fleet side, lower 4/6 with disc on front. 20"/20" or maybe 18"/20" wheels, still have to decide on that. Motor is suppose to run so will prolly drive it like that till I get the 454/TH400 built that came in the trade. Gonna just build a decent CR 454 with 781 heads, nice cam and let it breath and exhale good.....should make around 500hp I imagine with the right parts. Anyways here is the only pic I have of it, hopefully get to mess with it tomorrow but looks like rain is in the forecast till next week here. Give me some feedback guys!

Re: Just Another 67 SWB.....!!!

Thanks guys! Looks like it is easier to stay with the 6 lug stuff so you dont have to get into the rear axle. Any problems with the aftermarket on wheels in 6 lug??
