You be better off using the stock manifolds...nothing flows better than the stock LS2,LS3,LS7 manifolds until you go to a full long tube!

Your LY6 has LS3 manifolds...or it has them from the factory, anyway!

This part is easy. Use a 99 Vette filter/regulator. Mounts to the frame, and all he will need is a short return line back to the S/U.

lnwlfbsktbll - The ACDelco EP381 is indeed a good pump choice. For $68 you will have a quality pump that will provide 58 psi all day long.

Here's a couple part numbers for you, and I attached a .PDF of some more part numbers that should be handy for your swap:

Progress is slow right now, but I finally got the cab off with the help of a few friends. So here's how she sits waiting for me to strip the frame down.

We're doing a similar build...although my LY6 will have a carb. and a 200-4r behind it. The 6L80e would be nice though!

Does anybody have some pictures or links to a picture of their motor mounts installed on their ls motor before it all went in?

Re: Project 6.0 (my '87)

You can check out my build under Project blue-ray, It will show a pic or two of what 68 short step has done with it . He took an original motor mount bracket and matched to a flat motor mount plate attached to my gen 4 motor 5.3 there. hope that helps out

Thanks, I got some adapters and I'm having some trouble getting things to line up so I wanted something to compare to.

Re: Project 6.0 (my '87)

Ok so progress has been really slow considering something like 2 weeks straight of 14 hr days and a vacation after that, but here goes. I managed to find time to get my 6L90E and LY6 together and bolted onto my frame. I decided to skip Stripping and painting the frame because I'm on a little bit of a time crunch with my painter friend that is no longer going to be a painter in the near future. So mounting the motor and getting things back together so I can paint took priority over sorting the wiring out and such. Here are some pictures.

The motor mount adapters I bought wound up allowing me to reuse the stock Th400 crossmember and in its original location. It took a while to get things straightened out, but part of that was because the O'Reilly's I bought motor mounts from gave me the wrong part. Correct parts installed and it all went together like it was supposed to be there.

Re: Project 6.0 (my '87)

Thanks for the comments. I hope it goes as smoothly as it has been so far. I haven't had any really large issues. Still can't decide between the OE style mirror or the little square repro ones like LMC carries here.
