the rockers are crap on my 71, i pulled up old fiberglass todayand theres holes everywhere. i need new inner and outer rockers. who has thes cheapest? how hard is it to do? thanks, sean

i think i'm gona get some new slip on cab supports too, while i'm at it

sean, I can't tell you who has the cheapest but for the $$ go for the best fit you can get.It's much cheaper to use the better quality than to do the bodywork to make crappy ones fit.Besides you aren't looking at a whole lot of $$ for rockers anyway.

You have a lot of good suppliers on this board. Give them an email and ask questions and get prices. Good suppliers are more then happy to help out. Thta's what makes them good suppliers. Remember...Cheap equals short term victory!

I recommend Tim Christian whenever the question of where to get something comes up. Great Guy to deal with, uses what he sells on his own trucks, and the kicker for me was that his prices are better, and he's on our end of the Country for low-buck shipping. Can't go wrong.

You DO NOT want to use the cheapest because many of them don't fit. Bite the bullet and use original GM parts. I found some on the web a few years ago for prox $65 each, but it beats cussing, cutting, and bending-to-fit a $25 piece.

I sell Tri-Plus sheet metal I have helped install these rockers myself they fit great and in my opinion they are as good as GM rockers I can get either one just depends on how much you want to spend.

Take off that Von Dutch hat before i stab you with a 000 Mack.

Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming. Retired as a factory automation products salesman. Worked part-time over the years for an engine builder and a classic car repair shop. Member here for 23 years! This is the very first car/truck Internet forum I joined. I still used a dial-up modem back then!
