I have the same dilemma; selecting one of these transporters is difficult; the range of estimates I got back was anywhere from $900 to $1500 to transport a 3/4 ton PU from Ca to Va

i just had my 72 blazer hauled from fort smith arkansas to pottsville pennsylvania , i used american auto transport inc. it was 800.00 .it was approx. 1230 miles. very nice people to deal with and were very prompt and kept in touch. there number is 800-800-2580 web addy is shipcar.com hope that helps, kevin

That is not a bad price IMO. I got a quote from one of those listed in the Collector Car Trader and it was a little over $600.00 to ship from NC to Ga (about 545 miles). Your price seems pretty fair considering the fact you won't have to drive all the way up there & then trailer it home. Of course...I'm not to big on long road trips.
