Question Lookin to buy one

Hey guys, someone offered me cash for my ford and I gladly accepted. Im looking for a new truck and came across a GMC canyon (05') for cheap with low miles. Its 2wd standard cab with the 3.5 in it. My question is...has anyone drivin one? Im looking for a decently powered truck that I could lower. Which brings me to my next question..does anyone know if they look good dropped? Any opinions on the truck are appreciated. Thnx guys!

Re: Lookin to buy one

How about a '99 Silverado w/ 35k miles and a Whipple supercharger instead?? It'll get about the same gas mileage as that Canyon, and it makes ALOT more power and will turn ALOT more heads.

Re: Lookin to buy one

I like the colorado/canyon trucks. Haven't really heard much about them Don't know anyone who owns one either. The new tacoma seems to be kicking everyones ass in the small/midsize truck market (I see about 10 new tacamas per 1 colorado/canyon.) The reviews I have read state that's it a good truck with decent fuel mileage. The I-5 has good power if your not going to tow with it. It did not perform well VS. the other midsize/small trucks in towing or acceleration/power. Test drive it and see if you like it
