Transmission ID, need help

Ok. Complete newbie here. I知 looking at a continuous leak of trans fluid from a seal and the pan as well. While checking it out I知 thinking, hey, something's missing, but being the newb that I am it took me awhile. There痴 no bell housing.

How do I go about IDing the transmission? Everything tells me to look for numbers, but I知 not seeing any except on the pan and those are talking about possible patent numbers (?). Where do they like to hide? I値l include what pics I have.

Go easy on me! Like I said, I知 learning as I go.

If we had a complete picture of the pan we could tell by the shape of it.

Re: Transmission ID, need help

Your not missing the bellhousing your just missing the cover that goes over the Auto trans converter , trans id is done by the shape of the trans pan.
