Blazer fuel tank on S10 conversion

Hey guys just looking for some info. Im looking to install a 2 door blazer fuel tank in my s10 conversion. Ive found a few doing this with the 504 kit.

Has anyone done this without using the kit. Looking for mounting styles and crossmember replacement. Also has anyone taken the s10 crossmembers out (original fuel tank coss member) and just run a C channel bolted in instead. I want to do it for looks but want yo make sure it would be safe

Thanks

Re: Blazer fuel tank on S10 conversion

My Blazer tank in S10 AD conversion, just hung it from the OEM spare tire crossmember via rectangular tube and straps, ran filler into the bed. Somebody makes a kit?

Re: Blazer fuel tank on S10 conversion

I used a 67-68 Mustang 16ga tank from Tanks, Inc. on my S10 frame swap.

Fit perfect, and allowed me to use a rear filler. Very impressed with their product.
