Re: I Want Fatty Wheels

The best way to find out is to hang plum lines from the fender lip, wheel mount surface, inner fender, and leaf spring. Take down all those measurements, then shop for tires that have a section width that will fit within those measurements, then shop for a wheel that will fit the tire that has the correct back space.

In my case, I bought the wheel and tire I wanted then built the truck to fit the tire.

Where are you finding fatty tires?

I'm lifted, so I don't have the clearance issues that you do, and we're obviously not looking for the same size tires, but I have been looking for years for some good, fat tires.

Not sure what you mean by a "back spacer".

Pretty much anything bigger than a 295/50/15.

But its like a spacer that fits between the drums an wheels that pushs the ring outside the fender depending on the spacer size

If you want to keep fat tires inside the fenders you don't want spacers, You want a correct back spaced wheel measured like J Knight posted.......
