Re: Starting a Registry for BB trucks!

Thanks everyone! I will add the new SPIDS to the list as soon as I can. I appreciate fellow members keeping this thread going. I have been very side tracked by my project threads and parts hunting so I havent been keeping this thread as up to date as I would like.

Legendary, thanks I will see if I can get that link hooked up to my thread this weekend.

Mine is a 71 GMC 3500 longhorn 402. (454 now but have kept the original engine for eventual rebuild).

I like the picture at the lake next to my 73 motorhome.

Hope this is enough info for ya.

34000 + miles???? or 134?? THe switch for the auxillary tank above the air vent almost looks factory, I wonder if they would have put it there.

Interesting.

Re: Starting a Registry for BB trucks!

This is my 2nd 67-72 series but 1st Burb. My boss bought this over 25 years ago for his "Family Boat Hauler" and has recently passed her to me.
As you can see she is a 1/2 ton 2wd Auto with factory tach and a 402 BB ta boot.
Rightfully named her "The Blue October"

Very interesting, like the registry. I'll have to help out the 3/4ton numbers and get some pictures of my '71 Custom Camper up here. Will try to post this week.

Re: Starting a Registry for BB trucks!

Hi,

my 1972 C20 BB is almost finished. It still has the right camper mirror not attached and has some ugly aftermarket chrome wheels. The correct steel wheels with hubcaps should be here within a week and I will also install the right mirror shortly.
Then it's bone stock again (except what's under the hood) and very presentable.

I will post pictures shortly.
