EBay changed?

Has eBay changed the way you view a item for sale?...mines showing up different than it used to...whatever it is I don't care for it...

I've had that happen. They have different formats to chose from and either you unknowingly changed it or they just pop a different one up from time to time. I never figured that parts out. I'd have to go there to figure out how I fixed it, there is a way to chose how it displays. Is it like a dozen or so items pictured in boxes filling the page? That's what I had.

There is "VIEW" at the top middle of the page to change Grid, List etc.

I know some categories (Ebay motors for example) will look different than searching from the regular ebay storefront.

Yeah it's like what special-k described...it's just on my tablet....my laptop is still like it always was...but I don't see a view button on mine..

Are you using the eBay app on your tablet? If so, I circled the icon that changes the view. It isn’t labeled, but clicking on it changes the setting.

I noticed the other day they changed searches. used to be you saw promoted/extra cost ads first, then regular ads. now they promote paid listings and prevent the free/no cost insertion listings from showing up at all! even if you put in the exact title it will return 0 results, until you log in.

this is similar to how facebook marketplace works, which is you cant search by distance, ad age, price high to low, etc on facebook, and its only the ads they WANT TO push to you that show up.

I dont like it either, but without another online used product auction site its really their game.

I agree...it's annoying....and I don't like change...haha
