finally took the k20 out today

well, i finally took the k20 mudding today. most of these pics are of my buddies 90 GMC, as i was the camera-weilder, but there are some of mine.. overall it was a good day, we both had a blast and are planning to go again... we did end the day with one blown head gasket (me) and one rather clicky CV axle (him)

enjoy

Re: finally took the k20 out today

Looks like fun! Makes me realize how long it`s been since I`ve been out looking for a spot to 4 wheel. How do you like those tires.
Is that some railroad grade or something in the first pictures?

At least nothing of yours actually broke, head gasket shouldn't be too bad. Looks like you had a good time.

Cool pics! This makes me wish I had my longhorn running. The pics looking out your windshield bring back some fond memories wheeling in my old 70 K20. LOL

Re: finally took the k20 out today

defintly a blast, im thinking of taking the 79 out this weekend... i dont care about it, so it is gaurenteed to not break

tim, im assuming you mean the big wooden post things... ive always heard them called railroad ties, so im gonna say yes

the tires actually amaze me.. they are just some semi-bald mastercraft courser MTs i bought used, but you can not make the things spin... stuff my buddy was tearing all to heck and back, i could just crawl up.

jtrux, i sure hope it turns out easy... that thing has light casting TBI heads on it, so im worried to death i cracked one with the cold water.

diesel, i thought some of the 67-72 guys might appreciate the front seat pictures
