Rim Question

So I have been thinking about my rim options... I am going to stick with 6 lug, and plan to do disks up front and 2.5" drop spindles. so I decided I think some 15x8 would be about right.
checking craigslist and a come across a set of Chevy 6 lug wheels. Being Easter I figure I will call tomorrow and see if he still has them and some other specs, but they look pretty wide to me in the pic. $50 sounds good to if they are right.

Here is the question. I want to run baby moons... Obviously there are no outer clips on these rims but they have small holes in the lug circle, are these for cap clips? and will these work for me if everything is right... ok so I guess there is more then one question here

Can I run baby moons on these?
Do I need to check another measurement? Axle hole?
Am I missing anything?

The listing is a few weeks old so no guarantee these are still available, but worth a try.

hope this isn't a stupid question

Re: Rim Question

Those are Ralley wheels, the holes are there to attach the center caps. They are specific to those wheels.

Re: Rim Question

thanks longhair. I've sense been reading this... it just seems that it should be so easy to make a clip that would screw into the holes and hold a cap... I guess I would have to have a rim and cap on hand to see why it's not that simple... I'm guessing its a clearance and cap diameter thing.

Re: Rim Question

ok I still feel like I'm going crazy. It looks like there are police caps for these rallies, but I can't tell if they will fit or if they are for a different rim... the description say will fit truck rallys...

I guess the question is what year are the rims.
