1/2 HD (or 3/4 butcher) to 1/2

Ordered a bunch of McGaughy's drop parts for my new '72 Burban build. Pulled it apart to find out it's 3/4 ton front suspension with reamed out 1/2 ton spindle to get 5 lug. Not sure if it was converted to c20 front, or if it's the HD 1/2 ton.

Anyway, an entire day ripping everything apart (swapped c10 lowers and ditched the c20 stuff)

It's supposed to be a 2.5" drop spindle for a '72. But they sent me a 63-70 spindle because my tie rods don't fit :/ Also starting to question if it's a larger drop spindle due to how low the truck is. LCA's are probably 1.5" off the ground, and it's only supposed to be a 4.5" front drop (granted the tires are only 26" tall - selling them tomorrow thank god)

Also noticed the McGaughy part numbers printed on both the boxes and springs don't match what I ordered, nor can I even find the part numbers of what I received anywhere.

Front: 60822
Rear: 61015

Anyway. Here it is. It looks killer, but would be impossible to drive at this height. Front Shock is completely collapsed (all brand new Belltechs drop shocks)
