Here's mine... the day I brought it home.

The PO had painted the wheels black...

Back when I had an all GMC fleet... 1972 GMC 1500 Super Cutom, 1979 GMC K2500 High Sierra, and a 1996 GMC K1500 Yukon.

Re: Trucks with hubcaps

'62 Chevy car on 7" shown. Hubcaps is hubcaps when looking at the whole truck. A chrome dot in the middle half of the wheel. What you need to decide is texture, profile, and general design. I figure you've had plenty opportunity to see trucks with what came on them. People pay crazy money for those, too. But if you want a look of your own, factory yet not original, what so many seem to not realize is there are tons of choices in car hubcaps. Yes, they fit. The old 4-luggers are smaller, but any GM hubcap from a 5-lug wheel that pops over nubs can fit. You can get a smoother look, more shallow to make wheel look deeper, get a great visual effect from ribs wrays, accents, etc

31x10.50 15 front 31x11.50 15 rear both on 15x8" steelies.

3" CPP springs in front, 3" CPP springs in rear with 1" block.

That is it. Besides the shock re-locators and adjustable track bar.

Re: Trucks with hubcaps

Not sure if this applies. Some call them hubcaps others call them wheel covers.

There you go. You show us one of the advantages of hubcaps over custom wheels. You have the option to go flavor of the week. I presently have maybe 1/2 dozen sets of hubcaps for my '67 project. And if I get bored with the look of aall those I can always change the wheel color to suit my mood with dozens of other combinations. Then there are always 15" wheelcovers.

I've run 235/70's on them, but I think you could probably go a little wider.
