What kind of beer do you drink while working on your truck? Pix or it didn't happen!

Usually drinking Miller High Life, but sometimes I like a few Lonestars cause I live in friggin Oklahoma where 3.2 beer is all we have unless you go to liquor store and buy non-domestic beer hot! RANT OFF

This has got to be one of the best threads I have seen! I used to work at a shop, and our best work always occurred between 6pm and whatever time we went home to shower up for work the next morning. We could have built mountains with the beer cans and Bacardi rum bottles. No pics, of course, for deniability reasons. Now days, it's Bud in the summer and Jeremiah Weed bourbon in the winter.

no pics but I keep busch in the garage fridge. Have a few friends that like to help themselves when they are over. Which I don't care, That is why, I keep my good beer in the house for when I want something good. Depends on the mood I'm in when I go get beer for the house, ususally something dark.guinness ,etc.

I like the domestic lite beers for the most part, mainly because I am cheap and it's always on sale here.

My go to beers are usually:
Coors light
Miller, MGD, Miller light
Bud light
PBR and Natty when I am really scraping.

I do love the dark beers though, but save those for the house.
Guinness
Deschutes
New Belgium

Typically I only drink beer when I am detailing, the truck or the Harley because I am sitting in one spot scrubbing.
This picture was the only one I had handy with a beer in the shot, just finished working on the '70 and the Harley. Then the grill typically gets fired up, and the beers start flowin

This is the very last bottle of Jimi Hendrix vodka ever sold. I can't prove it, but I know it. So I won't open it. Besides, I don't really care for vodka. Or beer, for that matter. I'm a whisky guy, too. Free whisky is my favorite, but I buy Crown Royal.

I'd have to agree with LEX. I haven't met too many I don't like. But for me at this time of year I have a soft spot for the Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale. My usual date though is the hometown brewed Columbus Brewing Company's nicely hopped Pale Ale.

Bourbon has to be for when I'm not playing with fire/tools... we have an agreement between us.

Coors heavy is my beer of choice, but I have three sons and two sons-in-law who all like to drink beer, especially if dad's buying. They used to clean me out on a regular basis, but now I keep a few PBRs in my garage fridge, and there always seems to be one available when I want a cold one.

I brew my own beer and mead, and have some of that. The beer comes out of a keg, so its just plastic cups usually.

It has been many, many moons since I have drank beer. It is a life-style I had to leave behind, Dr.'s orders. I sure missed that for a while, but now if I drink beer it is Root Beer.

In the good ole days a friend of mine and I use to work on his old hot rods, we were pretty poor so we drank Brown Derby in the short bottles. We would gauge what kind of a weekend we had by how many cases we drank that weekend. Of course this was in the early '70s and MJ was always at hand to wind down after a long day working on the hot rods. Some weekends we did not get a lot done, but we didn't seem to care, lol.

In later years I drank MGD with an occasional Guinness.

I've been wanting to try making mead! Is it as hard as it seems reading how to make it?

I don't drink to often but the few times a year I do... It's Coor's Light! Can't believe more people don't drink it on here. It's pretty popular with my buddies here.

I usually have at least 1 or 2 kegs of homebrew in the kegerator so what type depends on what we brewed last!
