Plug wires

I have a 67 that I just put a 5.3/4l60e in. My shorty headers got here and fit great but I'm wondering what plug wires everyone is using since my stock ones now hit the headers.

Re: Plug wires

I am working on the same question. Not sure what headers you are using, but I am using the Speed Engineering shorties. From my research, I believe the MSD wire with the multi-angle boots are what others have had success with. They are part number MSD 32823. Again, have not tried these yet but am planning on ordering them shortly.

Hope that helps.

Re: Plug wires

I have the MSD with the multi-angle boot on my Z28 with mid-tube BRP headers (Hedman Hustler). They have worked great for 8 years.

I just used a set of cut to fit ICT Billets on my '49 GMC. They come with angle, straight, and 90 degree boots. Quality Moroso wires made in the USA.

Re: Plug wires

I always use the stock tin shields on the plug boots.
