Re: Project: Clean the Green Jimmy

man i love it! i guess because it looks like mine only cleaner. is that the original color green. my glove box says seamist green and i wasnt sure if it was the actual color. have you found any touch up paint or spray in the exact color? i lowered mine 5 inches in the front and 4 inches in the back....zero money....oh, i see you put a newer dash on for a minute to try it. did everything line up? just wondering since i have to buy a dash piece that goes around the air vents and i may run into a newer dash

Re: Project: Clean the Green Jimmy

I use spray nine doing the carpet, the pressure washer is awesome
It works on grease and coffee
Then some gain
I use the 89 sub dash in my 78,I use the 78 bezel no fit issues
But newer bezel and old pad leaves a bit of a gap

Re: Project: Clean the Green Jimmy

it may not be the sending uni, but rather the hoses going to it. They are probably the same age as the truck.

Re: Project: Clean the Green Jimmy

Got a used intake a few weeks back $50
went speaker shopping $80. got me
4-4X6@8ohms at least two for the front of this truck
2-4X10@10ohms for boxes if not the back
used taken out of pillars not dash baked
a reg mid 80s 4 speaker 2 post radio
and a CB antenna lip mount good for now, I'm not goin use the other setup

seems the PO used pop rivits to reuse the tank straps so they are on the gas repair list
