Hood Park Lamp - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

On a 64 Chevy - On the hood park lamp housing, Anyone know what size screws hold those to the hood? Just 2 screws each?
And what size is the hole for the bulb/socket assembly to fit into?

My 'truck in a box' didn't come with them. Thank you.

The only reason I ask is so I can order a plug for each side and the housings and maybe buy the correct screws locally to save a week here then a week there...

I think the screws are 8-32 by about an inch long. I have some housings at home I can measure tonight, and they are about 1 1/8" with a tang slot in the front. You may want to order the harness so you get the plug for the fire wall end.

Thanks Jimmy, I already have firewall plugs and connectors two sets of everything from different kits.
I want to make one piece of wire from the bulb contacts back to the firewall is all. I have leftover bulb contacts and was going to buy a new plug and make the ends there. Want to buy it from the Repair Connector Store.
